First of all this came in a heavy box ~50lbs, so make sure you have more than one person to move it inside. Once you open the box you can smell the distinct wood smell. Don’t get me wrong. It is good smell.Each pieces of wood and parts came neat and no damage. All wood parts have number on it but the manual is confusing at first. They also give extra parts for future use. It took is about 3hours to put everything together.The set is sturdy and well made. It has plenty storage spaces for toys. Stove and lights will need batteries. This set has minimal electrical part and encourage my son to be more imaginative playing with it. It came with small stuff like apron, pots and pans. The set feels like a small version of real kitchen.One complaint is the way the cabinets open. It is rather an awkward opening. The handle is on top but it opens sideway. This is not a big problem and doesn’t ruin the fun though. Also, it would be nicer to have modern color on it.Overall this set is a good price for the quality. There are many kitchen set like this that are pricey and made from flimsy plastic. My son loves playing with this.
