GE WB27X10017 Microwave Magnetron Replacement Part - Compatible with GE Microwave Ovens - High-Performance Magnetron for Smooth Cooking & Heating

My 19-year old built-in GE Profile Microwave oven suddenly stopped heating. Everything else worked fine. The oven is a styling match for our GE Profile gas range and a new "Profile" top-of-the-line quality microwave now costs $500 +. I took the oven to a electronics technician who charged me $30.00 for troubleshooting. The verdict, a dead magnetron, two bad circuit board components, and everything else looked good-to-go. I decided to gamble and ordered this magnetron. I then paid the technician's labor charge to install it and to soldered in two new circuit broad components.The oven now works like new and the repair cost less than half the cost of a new top-of-the-line built-in microwave oven. If I can get another five years out of this oven, I will be a happy gambler.
