I've been a fan of the Custom Custom since first trying one back in '89 when they were new on the market. Since then, they've been one of my go-to pickups for taming bright guitars and giving a fuller low end to thin guitars. They are perfect for most strats, especially if they are bright. They really come alive with high gain amps but work great at lower gain settings as well. I highly recommend the Custom Custom. A great example of what a great alnico 2 pickup can do.
