To those who had trouble figuring out how to disassemble the fob, there is an official Land Rover PDF with illustrations. Just search on "LR4 remote repair pdf" (can't post a direct link here, sorry). I used the lever portion of a pair of nail clippers to pry the two halves apart. Then just study the internals closely as you take them apart and it's a fun project. This was my second fob repair and it's not too tough.In addition, the seller of this item (LRNJ Autoparts) was a pleasure to deal with; very responsive and helpful. I would do business with them again.
