A MUST READ - ESPECIALLY AT THE END!!!!I read EVERY SINGLE REVIEW before purchase, and even reached out to Formosa prior to this purchase and I WAS slightly disappointed that Formosa personnel weren't more informed as to which cover would fit a particular bike, ESPECIALLY since a huge Rad Power Bike center is literally "in their backyard", 30 minutes away, with Rad Power E-bikes all over their landscape.Although I found a reviewer that stated that the 1-2 bike cover fits his Rad Power bikes, it DOES NOT fit our two RAD POWER RadRover 6-plus Fat Tire E-bikes, mounted on a Hollywood Rack.I ordered the 3-4 bike cover for our two RadRovers described above. Because of their size, they are mounted opposed to each other. It is a snug fit with the '3-4 bike cover', and would not be able to accommodate a third bike - even a child's.VALUABLE INFO:While there are a few disappointed reviewers, I feel for you but practice DOES makes perfect!1) Mount your bikes on your intended rack of choice and MEASURE. These Formosa covers do not stretch, and will not be forgiving if you are "guessing". Save yourself the frustration, and measure.2) So far, this has been a GREAT cover, i.e., substantial size & appears well constructed. There is a learning curve when you're first trying to put it on. It seemed to take forever (especially with the 3-4 bike cover) to get it centered, and ready to go. After the fourth time, it was a piece of cake. Stick with it.With the 3-4 bike cover, it is a two-person job, with each manning their respective ends of each bike.We have added a ton of goodies (Extended mirrors, after-market headlamps, cell phone holders, baskets, pannier bags, etc).Either fold them in, or remove any items that may be have sharp edges, or protrude beyond the frame. (BTW: We also have rear racks with bags, and the cover we selected works well.)Pay attention to the orientation of the attached hitch cover, which should be closest to the back of your vehicle. Make certain that you are lifting the cover up and over your bikes. Don't pull or tug. Lift up the cover, setting it down on top of the bikes, evenly lining up the zippers with the space BETWEEN the two bikes to ensure that it is balanced. Work the cover over the handle bars. Once you have it comfortably around the upper section, without attempting to zip, bring the front and back of the cover together by working them around the tires to assure that you didn't catch a segment on a pedal , kickstand, handlebar, or other item. The zipper should close smoothly. Don't tug and yank on the zipper. If it is not closing smoothly, then re-adjust the cover.3) To alleviate the signs of wear and tear, these are my suggestions which have worked beautifully so far:There are multiple attached straps in which to cinch and secure the cover once the zipper has been closed, and you have a Velcro closure which secures around the hitch. Just put enough pressure on these straps to prevent any areas that can flap in the wind. DO NOT cinch to where there are serious indentations. You're just securing; Not iron-cladding it down.I purchased a 4' x 6' "Cargo net for Roof Rack Cargo Net for Truck Pickup Bed, Car, SUV..." from Sumpluct on Amazon. It stretches to 8' x 12' with 4" squares. The 6' side goes around your nicely covered bikes from bottom to top to bottom, with the 4' side going from front to rear of bikes. There are multiple carabiners to secure the net on the sides and bottom - net to net. (With your first attempt, you may think, "It is NEVER going to fit", but it secures your cover and will not allow any area to get caught in the wind, which may cause some fraying, or compromise your cover as others have reported.) Make certain to check that the pressure of any 4" square of the netting is not causing undue pressure on any protruding part, such as a handle bar, pedal, or kickstand, to name a few where we oft times have needed to adjust the netting. It is easy to manipulate. Great protection for $24.29!4) MOST IMPORTANTLY:Regardless of what is stated in the advertisement for this cover, while the clear section may look cool as it breaks up the black,****** IT DOES NOT ALLOW FOR YOUR TAILIGHTS TO ADEQUATELY SHINE THROUGH !!!! ******We have used this on the back of our huge diesel truck, our Suburban, and our 8' wide and 35' long TT - and not one of them would I take this out on the road without additional directional lights. After much research, we purchased a TowMate 22" WIRELESS tow light bar. It does everything we need to keep us all safe, i.e., Lights, Brakes, L & R signals, and Emergency Flashers. Because of the different vehicles, and varying lengths, the wireless is the bomb, and works great. Available in multi variations, 4 flat, 4 round, 6 pin, 7 pin - Some suppliers only offer 4 round, but keep looking as there are a few who have choices available for you.It can be a bit tricky as while the units only weigh 6 lbs, it comes with "90lb pull magnets with rubber boots" so it won't fly off your vehicle. The problems is, when our bikes are loaded, there is no viable metal spot to place to attach the light bar where others can see it!To remedy this, we secured - separately - two, full length hay wraps around the lamp (between the two magnets, and knotted snug against each magnet) so there is ZERO chance of the wrap coming off the lamp. We knotted in the middle of each, leaving four even lengths of hay wrap. We placed the lamp on top of the bikes, UNDER the cargo netting, and INDEPENDENTLY secured each hay wrap to an X (intersection) on the cargo net.5) CUSTOMER SERVICE:I learned my lesson and didn't measure, so I was stuck with a 1-2 bile Formosa cover. Since the company is not a Prime participant on Amazon, it will cost you to send it back. BUT, I did notice that if there is a hardship of some sort, they ask that you contact them at the number listed on their paperwork "for assistance" with return shipping.Since the company is but a few hours away, I personally retuned it to the supplier. Within 20 minutes my refund appeared back on my credit card. WOW!!!!!I also discussed with their support staff the issues that appear to be mentioned more than a couple of times in their Customer Review section, and the steps I have taken (as described above), suggesting that they partner with other suppliers, giving customers the opportunity to obtain all the items they might wish to consider in a one-stop transaction. A WIN-WIN for all!I know this is a lot to go over. We have traveled many miles without movement or damage to anything. If y'all have made a great investment in your bikes, then you've found the right cover to protect them, and some suggestions that may be of benefit to you.We have now traveled over 3000 miles with our bikes along for the journey. We have been stopped too many times to count and gladly answered everyone's questions when asked about our set-up.We have now traveled in all types of weather (serious heat with triple digits, thunderstorms, sand storms, and significant wind), with our bikes in pristine condition upon arrival at each location. There is absolutely ZERO wear on the cover other than some slight bleeding of the black dye onto the plastic as others have noted which has happened while rolled and stored, and we have not recognized any deterioration to any area affected by the dye transfer.WE HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
