These are great for putting bowls or plates in before they go into the microwave. They hold the dishes well and no more burned hands when removing the dishes. Or you can use them to remove hot pans from the oven. They come in a set of 4, two small and two large. I love being able to remove my dishes no matter how hot they are. They also have ribbon attached to hang them up.
