JoeBcrafts Raised Stove Top Cover Sizing Countertop cooktop sizing (gas or electric) When the cover will sit on a countertop, measure the width and depth of your cooktop. Add 2" to both of those measurements, this is W and D, the outside dimensions of the cover. Measure the height of the grates/knobs from the counter and add 0.25" for H. Warning: There needs to be 1" of counter beyond your cooktop in all directions for the cover to work. Gas stove between counters sizing When the cover will sit on the metal lip of the stove that is between counters, measure the outside edge of the metal lip. This is W and D, the outside dimensions of the cover. Measure the height of the grates from the lip and add 0.25" for H. Warning: If grates are within 1" of the outside edge of the stove lip, this cover will not work. Choose the style that will sit on the grates. Glass top stove between counters When the cover will sit on the metal lip of the glass top stove that is between counters, measure the outside edge of the metal lip. This is W and D, the outside dimensions of the cover. H at minimum is 0.75".
