The Zulay popper makes microwave popcorn easy. The first batch came out good using no oil or salt. I did use white popcorn as another user recommended. Popcorn is my favorite snack and now I can limit the oil and salt making it a little healthier. My microwave has a popcorn setting and I still listen to the pops. The lid rises as the kernels pop. Be sure to leave a space when placing the lid. This item comes in many colors and is priced right making it a good gift. I am pleased with this purchase.
