The item arrived in time and well packaged. There were no instructions. But, once I unfolded it, it was obvious that it should be stapled (heavy duty stapler with 1/2” staples). I did find instructions online that showed it being stapled around the outside of the attic access stairs box frame. I don’t have a frame above the grade in the attic.I measured the inside dimensions and ordered that. It fit perfectly and I stapled it in securely all around. When I opened the attic, cool air raced around me from the house to the attic. Once I installed this insulated access cover, I began to sweat. Excellent insulation.This item is on the expensive side, but I believe the quality is worth it. I highly recommend it.
