I ordered two sets of these because 1) They are my accent color and 2) they store very nicely.The side benefit is my husband's favorite: close the vent after whipping some eggs in the little one, microwave 2.5 seconds, stir, then go another 30 seconds. The lid lifts but it's the perfect amount of steam and the eggs look like a mini-omelette, all puffy and fantastic.I would NOT consider these as "travel wear with food" between the lids being iffy and the vents possibly not being closed all the way. But if you're looking for a great microwave cooking set that stores well (in great colors), these are it. Because of our full-timing in a fifth wheel, space is a big deal so they also double as our super-easy-to-clean soup and salad bowls....even 'plates' with the biggest one. They ARE also an accent in my kitchen stacked on a counter.
