This looks good, but it is not sealed in any way, shape, or form. Teak is supposed to naturally resistant to mold, but it is not impervious to it. Therefore, this should be sealed. It's not. I noticed that specific "stink" of mold in my shower. I pulled this up, and sure enough, it was caked with black mold. For reference, I am a neat freak. I had just scrubbed this thing recently, and I ventilate the bathroom after showering.This thing is GROSS. So, I scrubbed it with Scrubbing Bubbles cleaner first, and it is now soaking in a mixture of vinegar and baking soda to kill the mold. When I dry it out, I'll seal it with cutting board wax to help it resist water. Even then, wood is not meant to be in a moist area. This is a stupid design.
