GE WB27X10831 Microwave Magnetron Replacement - Compatible with GE Microwave Ovens - Perfect for Home Kitchen Appliance Repair & DIY Fixes

My 10 year old GE JES2251SJ02 microwave's Magnetron finally went nuts. I literally had a major lighting storm inside the oven. I had a few arching events over many months before the end. But the last arching melted the antenna. Fortunately I was able to find this part same number as the original. Since I disassemble it over two months ago, I took lots of photo so I remembered where all the different screws went. Replacing it was easy. The most difficult part was having to sand and repaint the antenna chamber since the arching burned the paint away and exposed the metal. Bottom line: It is now working like new.
