My fridge model is a RF28HMEDBSR/AA. The issue was fridge ice accumulation on the vents and warm internal temperature (above 50F) even when setting temp at lowest level (issue only present on the fridge; beverage drawing and freezer were operating as intended, I confirmed with a fridge thermometer). The part was exactly the same as the original I took out. Part fits perfectly to this fridge model, including connectors. The repair is very easy (Appliance Parts Pros video). I did not rush myself, I disconnected the fridge and let it get to room temperature, with the amount of ice I found, if I had yanked it out, I would've damaged other components. I aided the deforst process with a hair dryer, having handy towels to capture all the water from the deforsting). I did find the drain hole at the bottom of the condenser plugged with ice and noticed the original drain evap clip was not long enough to reach inside the drain hole, so I ended up replacing it with the drain evap clip DA61-06796A, removing carefully the original clip with metal cutting scissors and placing this new one, making it reach far down the drain hole (I did have to cut less than 1/4" of the end tip, as it was too long). Fridge temperature is back to normal, and working as intended.
