I often put off making spaghetti at the last minute because I don't feel like waiting for the water to boil prior to cooking it. Using this microwave pasta cooker has been a godsend, and it's so easy too! I measure out the spaghetti and put it in the pan, which I usually double and make the maximum, four servings. Then I fill the pan with water to the line of the measurement guide, and I cook it on high in my microwave for about 15-17 minutes. Sure, that's about the total time it would take to boil my water and cook the pasta for about 7 - 8 minutes, but this way is much less of a hassle, in my opinion. When the microwave stops, you place the included lid/strainer on the pan and drain the water, (which I do using pot holders) and then you have your pasta ready to eat! It washes up well in my dishwasher too. I like this pan so much that I will probably buy more to give to family members, and an extra one for keeping in my camper too.
