Sure, you can find cheaper racks from overseas but they are generally cheap tubular construction that are designed to be cheap and not last...I know, I have made that mistake.This is the 3rd, firewood rack I have ordered from Woodhaven. I have 2 10 foot racks that still look like new and can handle all of the weight I put on them. I ordered this rack for my split oak kindling and it is not only amazingly sturdy but a snap to assemble. Please note you will need two tools to assemble the rack, but again this is not some cheap piece of trash that comes with the little wrench to assemble that you will simply place in the landfill... You will need a 1/2" nut driver and a 1/2" wrench or any combination of 1/2" tools to tighten up the 8 bolts. If you do not have a wrench set, you can buy one for less than 20 bucks at a national home center, and they are well worth having!The shipping box is double corrugated and it is packed beautifully for safe travels. The box is heavy so you may need another person to help you.The cover is extremely well made and fits perfectly on the assembled rack.I would not at all hesitate on "investing" in an excellently made USA product. And I would buy from Woodhaven again in a heartbeat, if I need more racks. Excellent and reputable company that makes products to last and last.
