I ordered these plates for the family because a couple of the us need to work on portion control. The younger kids (ages 3 and 6) thought these plates were the bomb! They actually thanked me for buying them! They love how colorful they are and they love putting the different foods in the different sections. I like that the younger ones are learning the technical terms for food groups (proteins, grains, etc.). As for the older ones in the family, we didn't like learning what true portion sizes are! LOL!!!! But,I feel that these plates will definitely help us stick to our portion sizes and it will be a huge health benefit to us in the long run. This was a great purchase in our quest for a healthier lifestyle.
