I purchased this product in December 2021 to protect my new stovetop (so <4 months ago). My expectations were that by placing this protective cover over the stainless-steel stovetop it would protect it from discoloration, burned-on messes, and the like.Take a look at the picture above, which is what I found underneath the covering when I lifted it today to clean it. 2 weeks ago, when last I cleaned the cover, there was some discoloration but I chalked that up to "something I spilled" and spent the time to clean it. I know I spilled nothing in the meantime, but today its amazingly discolored.What use is a stove cover that causes discoloration underneath?Do not buy this product... find something else to protect your stovetop. I was forced to give 1 star as that's the lowest rating - but if I could have entered "0 stars" I would have.
