I got a deal on this cover and love it. Now some will say that a boat cover will only create mold under it, but soaking the inside with rain water, snow, and leaves is not good either so I'll do the cover thing. One thing I did do in addition to just putting the cover on was to make a "V" frame down the middle of the boat and out of 1.00" PVC and some fittings. (Don't glue all the fittings so it can be stored.) The idea is to keep the cover taunt over the PVC rib down the center of the boat so water runs off toward the sides and doesn't just create a pocket for water to collect in and pull the cover into the boat. Next year I might opt for 1 1/4 PVC. Meanwhile; the cover is 600 denier grade, which is best available. It comes with elastic band, to make it easy to fit over boat, and straps to secure it to the trailer. I agree with other posts; this cover would not do well trailering with the cover on the boat. Although it would stay on, the wind blowing over it might not be good for it because it just will not be tight enough.
