Any microwave cookware you use & burn food in will be ruined, so let's get that straight. Careful not to burn your food! These nest well in storage. The dishwasher does a great job cleaning them. The venting tab turns to close for when using them to store leftovers in the fridge - then just turn it to the open positing for microwaving! They are sturdy and they last (I've had mine 2.5 years, no problems).
