The "Assembly Cover Dispenser" under very close inspection appeared identical to the malfunctioning unit from my RF4287HAWP/XAA Samsung refrigerator. It was securely wrapped in bubble wrap with both a "Samsung" label and a "Made in Korea" label (in case some people are thinking this item is a Chinese clone). There are a couple of YouTube videos showing how to remove this unit from the refrigerator, without scratching up the door of your refrigerator. I used a combination of a masking tape-wrapped putty knife (to gently pry), with pulling hard from the bottom of the unit. This is my 3rd DA97-08679H since the refrigerator was installed November 2013. The 1st and 2nd units were both replaced under warranty, with both having the same problem; elements of the 7 segment temperature display digits would fade, and then go dark. I hope this 3rd unit lasts!Samsung, if you are listening, I disassembled the 2nd DA97-08679H down to the main PCB. Some of the blue SMD LED's in the 7-seg displays were dead; this is an unacceptable failure of a component that typically has a 20 year or more lifespan.
