A traditional floral design is part of the plates and bowls, and won't wash, wear, or scratch off. The plates and bowls in this set are made with Corelle triple-layer strong glass, which is lightweight, stackable, and resistant to chips and breaks. The mugs in this set are made of durable stoneware. These pieces are dishwasher safe, and can be used in an oven or microwave. The BPA-free plastic lids are top-rack dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, and microwave safe. Corelle glass is made in the USA, and comes with a three-year limited warranty against manufacturer defect. Plastic lids in this set come with a two-year limited warranty against manufacturer defect.

My Mom has a CorningWare casserole covered dish she’s cooked with for 60 years! That’s durability. When I was in elementary school, a glass baking dish burst in the oven. Since then, she only uses CorningWare and Pyrex. I didn’t own any glass baking dishes or casserole dishes. This is my first set. I couldn’t have gotten pieces at a thrift store for less than the $38 I paid for these. Living in a tiny apartment, I didn’t have room for a bigger set. This is all I really need to serve a holiday dinner, with two casserole sides. I really like the creamy white color and the ribbed texture. Easy to handle, looks good, will work with any china. The weight and size are just right. They go from oven, to table to fridge to freezer, so perfect for storage. I’m so pleased with this set and my Mom’s experience with CorningWare speaks for itself.
